DailyBot can send reports to both public and private channels/rooms.

Using Slack

There is something important you should know about Slack private channels:

1. You must invite manually @DailyBot as a member of that private channel

2. After having DailyBot as a member of that private channel, you can configure the channel in your DailyBot follow-up

Troubleshooting in Slack

In case you don't see the channel in the list, please try removing DailyBot from that channel and inviting the bot again to the channel, then go the website and reload the page to see the channel in the dropdown.

Using Microsoft Teams

DailyBot can be used in public channels inside any team the bot has access to. DailyBot might have limitations when working with group chats or private channels, if you have face any issue here, please submit a ticket and let us know about your use case.

If your channel doesn't show up in the list, please try removing/adding DailyBot back in that channel. If you find issues, please submit a ticket and we'll help you.

Using Google Hangouts Chat

You should add DailyBot to the room first and then refresh DailyBot's webpage in order to see the room in the list.
